Hi. I have had a reaction to propane for almost 3 years now or anything with methane in it. I've went to see a doctor and he sent me for tests and they all came out fine, but whenever I'm around propane I become pale and barely able to breathe and as a after shock of all this I have some sort of spasm as to where my body is is just flailing around and i have barely any control. My cat won't' leave my bird alone?

My cat Sy won't leave my parakeet PJ alone. I live in an apartment so we keep the parakeet up high on top of the fridge. Sy sees this as her personal challenge. She'll jump on the counter and onto the top shelves to get to him. We scold her by yelling, "No sy! Get down!" And we'll squirt her with a water bottle. She gets down but not even 5 minutes later she's back up there! We've been having this problem for awhile now. We have 2 other cats and they don't seem to care about the bird at all. I can leave the other cats alone with him in the same room and not worry about it. So what can I do to nip this problem in the bud and have her leave the bird alone before the poor thing has a heart attack. I found a fruit-bearing down here in Florida and tried one of the fruits. It was planted in an apartment complex with others like it so I doubted it was harmful. The tree and the fruit have a strong resemblance to a lychee. The fruit has a smooth, fuzzy, yellow rind which is easily peeled away and the translucent, white pulp was soft, tart, and very sweet. 3 days to due date and having problems this morning! HELP!!?

My husband and I had last night (TMI I know) and it felt a little diffrent than usual but not painfull by any means. All of a sudden after a weeks of not having to get up but once in the night to pee I was getting up literally every two hours to pee! At maybe 3 in the morning I lost a bit nof my mucus plug. Around 5:30 I started getting mild but very noticable crampy feelings and got up to pee when I lost the rest of my mucus plug. A hour went by and no cramping and while I was on the phone with my hubby I got another little cramp and relized that I feel like Im peeing myself but couldnt stop I went to the bathroom and cleaned up etc etc but Im not sure if my water broke or if I lost control for the first time.....What does this sound like to you???? the cramping stopped after the water leaked or urine whatever it was...

Sand for my Bearded Dragon?

I use washed play sand in all of mine and then I sift it as well. I did build feeding platforms for each tank so their food goes there. If you are using crickets I would suggest a separate place to feed those. All my salads and super worms go up on the feeding platforms and I have had really good luck. I did not put them on sand when they were juveniles. I did wait until they were pretty big and almost a year old from what I remember. I like the sand as it is easy for me to just scoop out the messes. Do not use the calcisand and colored sand that is sold in pet stores. I know that the calcisand will cause impaction and the other colored sand just discolor your dragon

These horses are extremely herd bound, the only solution is to seperate them pernamently. Don't let them share a field, don't work them anywhere near each other and basically just keep them completely out of sight of each other. They may act up for a while but if kept seperated will get over it.

Today I went in for an ultrasound and the baby was not laying the right way for her to get some of the pictures she needed. One thing you could study is environmental science or any kind of science really. I would look at Earthwatch.org. It is an organization where people pay to participate in a science expeditions. They have fellowships for students. There are many places you can volunteer to get experience like aquariums, zoos, natural history museums and conservation organizations. Maybe you can work at a travel company. Some specialize in green travel. You are definitely going to have to learn another language if you don't speak one already. You can also look at companies that make environmental products. Unfortunately, I don't live in the UK so I don't know much about the schools but many universities have environmental programs. Could a faulty sensor cause an intermittent beeping on a domestic fire alarm system (professionally installed)

We had an intermittent beeping on the system which we notified the electrician of when he serviced it. We still had the beep afterwards and when he (eventually) came round said it was caused by a different fault ( new battery needed) and charged us a second time for this work. Please note it's not a basic fire alarm but a professionally installed linked unit (Niceic approved). Are we being fleeced or is this a possibility?

I dont know a lot about nutrition but the little I do know tells me that BMI is extremely inaccurate. How can the nutrition industry rely on something that only calculate height and weight and does not account for Body fat, or muscle tissue, or age. I'm 5'8 and 135-140, no one believes I weight that because I stay fit but its average weight for my height. your weight isn't just determined by your body fat how tall you are has quite a bit to do with it as well. What is wrong with me when I eat this?

I was just wondering if I'm allergic to some seafood or if my stomach just cant handle it. I have eaten shrimp before and it had no effect on me but I only ate a couple pieces due to the fact I do not like it but every time I have ever went to eat at an all you can eat seafood place I have gotten sick. I would eat more than shrimp though. I would eat things like oysters, lobster, crab, squid, scallops, etc...Then about thirty to 40 minutes after eating it, the sickness settled in and I would throw up non stop, have diarrhea and fever. Not once but every time I have ingested seafood. I have not gotten sick eating shrimp or fish though so I am confused. Also I thought if you were allergic to something. It would kill you not just make you sick. Every time it has happened, I had to go to the ER because it would not let up until they gave me some type of meds. Not sure what they gave me though...Any ideas what would be causing this?

Body and weight loss?

ok. I am relatively slim, but curvy. (scarlett johansson BODYTYPE) I don't mind having curves, it's good not to be too skinny or all bones. But I'd never really been an athlete or exercise regularly, so I've put on enough weight (tum & hips.) I've started going to the gym since last week and I'm also following a healthy "nourishment". What I'm worrying about is that even when I lose most of the extra kgs, I'm not happy with the whole image. Is the gym going to help me lose most of the fat and tone up just like i want to? Dog yelps when touched?

My 1 year old queensland yelps whenever I touch her. Sometimes, when I have her in my hands, she'll scream as if im trying to kill her. She in fact acts like a dog with rabies because of her insane behavior. Mandy (dog) is up to date on her shots, no heath problems. She plays with my rather rough dogs fine. 4 day old daughter seems to have motor skills and older child?

Hi. my newborn daughter(my first child :D) seems to already have slightly well developed motor skills. For instance, we played Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata last night to try to get her to calm down. About halfway through the song, she began to slowly wave her little arms back and forth *seemingly* to the tone of the music. She also had her forefinger and thumb in a pincer grasp(the way prude people are portrayed while drinking a beverage from a teacup). also, on her second day of life, the nurse at the hospital said that she rolled halfway over from her stomach to her side in just a few seconds while she( the nurse) had her back turned. I'm not sure if some of these things are something to make note of, or if they are just commonalities with infants and newborns these days(because of all of the exposure to the stimuli surrounding them before they even leave the womb). Any input?

My cat went missing almost a year ago...?

and I miss her. I had her for 5yrs. She was so smart, I taught her sit, come, up-up (like on the bed/table/on my back/whereever), to walk on a leash, kiss kiss(I'd kiss her on the forehead while she gave me a head bump), um we'd play games like hide and seek or tag lol she was not too independent not too dependent, she was the perfect cat and I loved her so much. The teeth on the left side of my jaw are "longer" then the teeth on the right, how does this happen?

Completely random question I know, but I've always wondered about this. The teeth on my right side of my mouth are shorter then the teeth on the left side. If I take my index finger and slide it under my teeth on the right side then about 3/4 of my finger can still be felt (seen), if I do this on the left side only about 1/3 of my finger can be felt (seen). I've never hit my jaw on anything, never broke my jaw, etc. I do however chew only on the left side... could that "sharpen" my teeth more or something? I'm just curious why one side would be a bit longer then the other.

You do change when you become a mum, you have this little person that is depending on you and you can lose sight of your relationship with your partner. The fact you don't feel like is totally normal as well. Your body has changed, it took 9 months to get that way it's going to take a while to get back again. Gentle exercise and tummy toning is okay to start now and work up from there. I am a gym junky but get sick during pregnancy so have to let go until I can go back to the gym again. Try not to be worried about your body, it always looks worse in your own eyes! When I had my first child I fell so in love that my relationship with my partner took a backseat. It caused problems for us but we decided to work on it. We had some counselling and then we started to date and fell in love all over again. You need time for you, and you need time for you and your partner. Intimacy doesn't have to mean , but if you start with some of the other stuff you may be surprised and actually feel like again. Be open with your partner and tell him how you feel. I bet he'll be a whole lot more understanding than you think!

hello everyone i really need help it seems like i cant talk to anyone i cant think of what to say i cant concentrate on anything i cant get a job or anything not even a girlfriend... :( im scared of everything ... i think this is the outcome of smoking weed for like 2 years but i havent for like a month now ... it came to a point were i would smoke weed non stop... im not sure if this is why this is happening to me but i really need help! what can i do? i want more confidence i wanna be normal i know im not normal i cant have a normal conversation with anyone not even my family members... its really hard for me me to do anything....i smoke cigarretes alot too idk if that would have anything to do with it i thought if i stoped smoking weed it would help but it feels as if im getting worst every day. but one of my biggest problems is i cant comunicate i process everything i say nothing comes out normal i have to try hard to comunicate and to say stuff idk how to explain myself its like im never on auto pilot its like i process everything i say .. my dad had depression and so did my grandma maybe its something hereditary but im sure i dont have depression its something else becasue i wanna be normal i use to no be like this what can i do?? please help! I am so stressed, I cant learn things because i dont understand and find it hard, i cant follow peoples conversations, and i cant start one, I dont understand the story on tv so I just watch the people. When someone tells me a story its like learning a different language. I just smile or nodd my head when they finish just to agree with them. I walk out of places and cant remember what was said. I just want to sit and stare and drift away. I ask someone something and when they talk i dont listen, i cant pay attention, concentrate or think My point is, is this a condition? Whats your advice? Normally it is a screw type connection. I am a bit curious where the feed is for the propane - unless you use propane for heating and/or cooking. The connection itself is easy, even if you need to install an extension to reach the grill. All connections should be tight (do not over-tighten) and can be tested with ordinary bubble water (yes, the kind you buy for kids). Pour the bubble water on the connection. If you do not see any bubbles then there are no leaks.

Can someone explain the LSAT Curve?

I took the December 2010 LSAT and have been looking at discussion threads regarding this test and I keep seeing things about the curve, and how a lot of people are predicting that it could -9, or -15, -16, etc. I read somewhere that a minus 9 or minus whatever number means you can miss 9 questions (or whatever other numbers) and get a 170. Is this correct? My other question is, what would a -9 or -15 curve mean for someone who averages 150 or 155 on their practice LSAT exams? From what I read, this number (150 or 155, etc) is already adjusted to the curve, so does a -9 or -16 or whatever make any difference for someone who scores in that range, or does it mostly just make a difference for those who score closer to 170? Sorry, I know I rambled a lot in this question but the anticipation for the score release is killing me right now and I'm really curious about this curve and if it might be at all beneficial to my lowly 155's on my practice exams.

How to repair a hacky sack?

I had the same problem the first time I used a hacky sack! What I did is I took a sewing kit and took a needle and weaved it through either side of the hole with some string and just tied it shut. you can fix multiple holes with the same string. especially make sure the top is sewn shut because you can lose a lot of beads through the top and bottom holes.

Why is it that women feel they're too good to hold doors open for men as an act of common courtesy?

I always look to see if anyone is coming behind me and hold the door open for them. My son has now picked up on this and will normally hold the door open for other people, he's 9. It's just common courtesy. When someone holds the door open for me, I don't see their gender I just see a person doing a good deed for someone else.

Cry me a river. Look -- when you sign up for a cl, it is always a crap shoot. When I was in college, I determined whether the individual teaching the cl was stable enough to risk staying in the cl all semester. If not, I dropped it and added another. There are plenty of professors that suddenly decide they need to shake things up or change things half-way through. That is why you need to get your bearings early on. If you make the wrong call (which I did several times), you make the best of it. I recall a Nutrition course that I took in college. I thought it would be easy. But, I had a similarly nutty professor who gave random pop quizzes that seemed to bear no relation to the material we were covering. So, I hear you. But, this is life. When you get a job, you will have similarly unfair curve come your way.

I was speaking in perfect German one time and I said "Wo ist Stephen?" The people I was talking to was aware of my German speaking habits but only spoke English unfortunately and they confused "wo" which means "where" in German to "who." Also I find it funny that it will red underline wo as it mistakes it for a misspelling of who. So the girl replied, "He's a white boy who talks funny and loves to wear shorts." I never found out his location. I marched on home. Maybe I should've spoken in English because "Wer ist Stephen" would've been incorrect but confused for "Where is Stephen?" I find it hilarious that the spell checker confuses the German word "wer" for a misspelling of the English "where." Also is this another example of what someone means about believing you recognize words and parts? Like let's say Fabrik from German and you believe it means fabric but it actually means factory when the actual word for fabric "Leinwand" was hiding someplace else within the language? So if someone was speaking Swedish or Danish to me and I thought a word sounded like German and I replied with the wrong answer because of misinterpretation because of knowledge in German, would they get mad?

Why don't people believe the partial use of solar energy can be a useful alternative or addition to a home?

I'm not sure...I would LOVE to be able to lower my electric bill with solar, but I've heard its not all that effective right now. Years ago I bought a house that had a solar water heater. I ended up putting a regular water heater in and taking the solar panel off the roof, and my electric bill actually went down. Hopefully, 25 yrs later solar has gotten better. I have no doubt though that some ingenious American will come up with some type of advancement to make solar more economical and efficient..I'm waiting...

Hi, I realise that i have now asked several questions on tadpoles, But im starting to worry. I have not yet seen my tadpole eat. He is a golden Bell Frog tadpole, and is only young (Would be about one inch long), and he just sits there all day, on his rock. I really want him to turn into a frog. I have had tadpoles before, but they ALL died. I dont want ollie to die aswell. Im currently feeding ollie boiled and frozen lettuce, and some fish flakes. Although I put them into the water, he always swims away, and i never see him eating AT ALL! What should i do? 10 points best answer. Here's the scenario: I am a paralegal working for a real estate/land use firm. There are several attorneys in the practice, however, few of them do actual "estate" work and focus more on landlord/tenant and mortgage defense. My uncle wanted to bring business to our firm and came to me asking for my boss to set up a trust with his son as the beneficiary. I have made inquiries to past employers, but I thought I would just throw this question out there in case there is a PA, more specifically, a Philadelphia attorney on this site who has some experience. I always get some BS answers on here from people who obviously have chips on their shoulders REGARDLESS of what my question is. Does she go to public school where she comes into contact with other children? That is the biggest socialization most kids get. These days, it's seems like the playdate is getting pushed aside for other activites. Check out some of the cles offered at your community center or at your child's school or library and enroll her in a once or twice weekly art or tumbling cl with other kids. If she really loves doing a certain sport like ballet or karate look up local schools and check out programs for younger kids. The park is a great place to play with a variety of children. Or, talk more to the moms of the kids you want your daughter to play with. Ask them if they'd like to come over with the children and have adult time while the kids play or if they'd like to have the afternoon to run errands. Strike up a meaningful conversation with the other parents, you'll be doing your daughter a favor as well by showing her how to talk to people.
