Sand for my Bearded Dragon?

I use washed play sand in all of mine and then I sift it as well. I did build feeding platforms for each tank so their food goes there. If you are using crickets I would suggest a separate place to feed those. All my salads and super worms go up on the feeding platforms and I have had really good luck. I did not put them on sand when they were juveniles. I did wait until they were pretty big and almost a year old from what I remember. I like the sand as it is easy for me to just scoop out the messes. Do not use the calcisand and colored sand that is sold in pet stores. I know that the calcisand will cause impaction and the other colored sand just discolor your dragon
