Red hair/curly/hairtstyle help

I have naturaly dark blonde hair,and hazel eyes, similar to Hilary Duff,but I want to dye my hair red. I want something cute but unique that will bring out my eyes. Which would look better, a dark red,maybe auburn,or an orangeish red? Pics would be great to show what you mean :] Im also thinking about putting in med/light blonde highlights. Do you think it would be cute or not? I want to change the style to,its a little past shoulder length with layers at the end. I dont want to shorten it but I want something maybe a little edgy,with layers,no bangs,and that would look good straightened or curly bc my hair is naturally curly. Any ideas? Thanks! :D
