Only met this girl once, but i think i like her?! Help?

Hi, i me this girl the other day at this party, ad i got her number after i added her on facebook, we didnt talk for long at the party, but i text her alot now, its very playful conversation slightly flirty you could say, just casual conversation about school, holidays etc etc, atleast thats what i thought, the other day i asked if she was 'in to anyone at the moment' and she replyed 'not too sure to be honest :L you?' after her convincing me for a few texts i eventually gave in and told her i liked her, i also said 'sorry if that sounds wierd, feel free to like stop texting me or w.e.' i said thay simply ecause i felt stupid and she had put me on the spot (clic me thing to do), which yes i know was stupid i dont need telling that, and she just replyed 'dont worry it wont change the way i see you or anything'etc. She still seems just normal to me as if it never happend, and still seemed very eager to meet up when i asked (presumably alone) whats going on? Should i stop texting for abit? Is it worth pursueing my feeling for her? help please?!?!
