What happened in Ceasera Philippi?

I have to write a paper over the events at Ceasera Philippi that traces the Kingdom, the church and the Messiah. I am also to include a comparison of Jesus' view of suffering with that of Christians today and how the transfiguration fits into the teaching on the Messiah and the Kingdom.
