Does anyone else have a hard time getting playdates for their kids?

Does she go to public school where she comes into contact with other children? That is the biggest socialization most kids get. These days, it's seems like the playdate is getting pushed aside for other activites. Check out some of the cles offered at your community center or at your child's school or library and enroll her in a once or twice weekly art or tumbling cl with other kids. If she really loves doing a certain sport like ballet or karate look up local schools and check out programs for younger kids. The park is a great place to play with a variety of children. Or, talk more to the moms of the kids you want your daughter to play with. Ask them if they'd like to come over with the children and have adult time while the kids play or if they'd like to have the afternoon to run errands. Strike up a meaningful conversation with the other parents, you'll be doing your daughter a favor as well by showing her how to talk to people.
