Why is ares slowing down my taskbar so much?

It makes no sense and it just started doing this but when ever I run Ares it slows my taskbar alot and I tried disconnecting from the net and it still slows my taskbar alot. The odd thing is that it only uses 6,000 k of memory and 00 cpu. Btw it just started doing this and I tried reinstalling it and it didnt help.
