Marijuana: Do YOU think it should become legalized in the United States? If not, why not?

AMEN! There is absolutely nothing wrong with moderate pot consumption and nothing dangerous about heavy pot consumption. It's the only drug I know that actually makes me feel better after using it. It gives me perspective that I really just can't get through most other American forms of entertainment. In fact, I don't think I'd be in the top ten percent of my law school cl without it (I would have gone insane long ago). The only reason it's illegal is because the American government is bought and sold by existing corporate interests, namely paper, petrochemical, pharma, alcohol and tobacco.
