Where are all the "normal" people?

Ive been in my university for 3 year (in UK) and although i am an international student i am fun and interesting! Im in the uni with my twin sister and since we came we have practically made no friends! Pls tell me these ppl are weird bcus my twin and i are very pretty, fun, smart etc. Most of the boys just stare at us but never talk to us! There's just this animosity and apparently they call us "the twins". It feels like a rumor started about us before we evn came into the uni. Ive tried talking to a few people but they dont make effort. If i dont talk to them they wont talk to me! like they are waiting for me to approach them, and i find myself the only one keeping in touch!!! GEEZ im just tired of all this! i feel my university experience is ping me by and i dont know what to do! Pls help!!!
