Why does Obama portray the Republicans as principled free-market advocates?

you haven't listened in on Rush or FOX lately have you? the organizations have charters and PR people to respond to such polls but the average Republican that watches their nightly news and has been lead to fear the "Nazi" actions of the president or fed some other bit of propaganda that they are too addle minded to recognize as such are the ones he's trying not to insult. The man has bent over backwards trying to engage as many people as possible but so many are just waiting for him to bent over the other way so they can give him a Bushism where the sun don't shine.
